A nice "blue planet" photo from space One of the famous "earthrise" images from
the moon (in this case from Apollo 8), showing the lighted portion of
earth as blue and white from ocean and clouds. A photograph from Apollo 4 showing the earth
about half in darkness. The light portion is almost entirely blue water
and white clouds. Images of the earth as though you were seeing
it from the moon, sun, or an orbiting satellite, no portion of the earth
